? Pyramid Healthcare is seeking dedicated nursing professionals to join our growing team at our Joppa Inpatient Treatment Center in Harford County, Maryland.
Our inpatient program provides specialized treatment services for adults experiencing substance use disorders, opioid addiction, methamphetamine and stimulant use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, withdrawal management, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). As part of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals begin their recovery journey while receiving exceptional medical and behavioral healthcare.

As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care and clinical support while ensuring safe, effective treatment services for clients receiving substance use and mental health treatment.
Essential Duties- Complete admission nursing assessments, screenings, observations, and documentation
- Administer medications and monitor client response, effectiveness, and side effects
- Implement and monitor detoxification and withdrawal management protocols
- Complete clinical assessments including COWS, CIWA, and other nursing tools as appropriate
- Provide medication education and health education to clients
- Support physicians, nurse practitioners, and medical providers during assessments and medication management appointments
- Monitor client health status and communicate significant findings to the treatment team
- Maintain medical equipment, medication storage areas, and clinical supplies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards
- Complete required training and compliance requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Current, active, unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maryland
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Strong communication, assessment, and clinical documentation skills
- AED and First Aid certification
- Experience in substance use disorder treatment, detoxification, behavioral health, psychiatry, or mental health services
- Experience working with clients who have co-occurring disorders
