IT QA Tester / Automation
Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.
Responsibilities- Analyze system requirements, concept of operations documents, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to develop evaluation and test plans and procedures, prepare for and conduct data collection and analysis, and report status and results.
- Support the development of Government test and evaluation documentation such as Test & Evaluation Strategy, Test & Evaluation Master Plan, Event Test Plans, Test Readiness Assessments, and T&E Reports.
- Collaborate with other test organizations to support T&E program integration.
- Provide specialized T&E capabilities tailored to system functions, level, maturity, and performance area as assigned in the Statement of Work.
- Design, develop, and implement test scripts, test plans, test cases, and test processes.
- Perform User Interface testing against requirements.
- Identify data required for testing.
- Define test strategies for future capabilities.
- Manage project artifacts.
- Determine appropriate project methodologies and practices.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Eight (8) years of experience as a Test Engineer on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Two (2) years of directly related experience within the last five (5) years.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, or four (4) additional years of Test Engineer experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Test automation tools and frameworks:
TestNG, Selenium, Cypress. - Programming languages:
Java, JavaScript. - Databases:
PostgreSQL, MongoDB; ability to write SQL and JSON queries. - Design patterns:
Page Object Model (POM). - Selector testing and visual testing.
- API automation:
TestNG, REST Assured. - Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence).
- Experience with regression and integration testing in multiple environments.
- Version control:
Git. - Operating systems:
Linux; use of Putty. - Accessibility testing.
