• Customer Service: Provide a positive representation of Westlake Ace Hardware. Proactively assist customers in solving problems, greet customers upon entering and throughout the store, thank customers when finished and as they leave, and maintain a friendly, outgoing demeanor. Answer telephonic queries promptly, courteously and effectively; forward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to management. Possess strong product knowledge and knowledge of store layout and product locations.
  
  Assist customers with personalized, customized service based on the premise of amazing every customer, every time.
• Store Operations: Assist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment. Participate in receiving, checking in and stocking of merchandise throughout the store; maintain back‑stock levels; perform daily maintenance, orderliness and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room and outdoor merchandise area. Keep the sales floor, including end‑caps and ad merchandise, clean and orderly. Perform merchandise resets throughout the store.
  
  Provide assistance to Department Specialists with price changes and special orders. Ensure signage is current throughout the store. Operate a forklift with proper training. Communicate any Store Support Center issue to the General Manager for follow‑up. Communicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to the General Manager. Participate in store meetings. Be professional in appearance and actions. Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Formal retail experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25 lbs.) and climbing required.

$16.25 per hour.
