Regional Sales Manager, Mid-Atlantic & South

The role requires approximately 25% travel. Candidates must be based in the Mid-Atlantic, ideally in Central Maryland or Greater Philadelphia.

• Responsible for regional sales strategy, targets, and annual business plans
• Manage and grow key grocery accounts, while also identifying new distribution opportunities
• Lead and develop an Area Sales Manager
• Manage both broker and distributor relationships
• Build and maintain relationships with retailers, buyers, and category managers
• Develop promotional plans, trade budgets, and merchandising programs
• Manage forecasting, trade planning, deductions, and sales reporting
• Analyze syndicated and distributor data to identify opportunities, selling stories, and risks
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Strategy, and Operations teams
• Drive in-store execution, including shelf placement, displays, POS, and merchandising
• Represent the company at trade shows, distributor events, demos, and other industry events

• 5+ years of food or beverage retail sales experience, including key account management
• Strong knowledge of U.S. grocery retail; food experience preferred
• Existing relationships with regional grocery chains are a plus
• Direct experience managing brokers, distributors, and field sales teams
• Proven success growing sales and distribution in a retail environment
• Strong analytical skills with experience using Nielsen, IRI/Circana, SPINS, etc.
• Strong forecasting, planning, negotiation, and customer management skills
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace
• Experience with field sales platforms
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
