The Public Safety Officer (Security Officer) is responsible for patrolling JHMI campus via foot, mobile unit or bicycle to protect against illegal activities, theft, fire, vandalism, hazardous conditions, infringements, etc.

Education- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Additional training or coursework in security, law enforcement, or healthcare‑related fields preferred.
- Current certification in use of Corporate Security Services self defense equipment required.
- One (1) year of security experience in the Public Safety Officer role.

Authorization to Work in the United States:

Minimum 17.37/hour - Maximum 28.68/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
