SkillBridge Research Engineer – Cyber​/EW

Security Clearance:
Active Top Secret security clearance required on day 1. U.S. citizenship is required.

• Coursework and/or experience designing, developing, modifying, and debugging software or hardware systems or prototypes, with concrete examples of coding projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in relevant technology topics
• Position may require some amount of overnight travel
• Active Top Secret security clearance
• U.S. citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance as of day one of employment

• Familiarity with security concepts (confidentiality/integrity/availability, authentication/authorization, etc.)
• Experience building software for embedded devices and consumer electronics (e.g., ARM, Arduino/Raspberry Pi, Linux, Windows, Android, iOS)
• Understanding of operating‑system internals (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android)
• Understanding of cyber‑physical systems security considerations
• Experience with disassemblers (IDA Pro, Ghidra)
• Experience using debuggers such as gdb or Win Dbg
• Understanding of binary or systems reverse engineering
• TCP/IP networking fundamentals and tools (iptables, firewalls, tcpdump, Wireshark, packet analysis)
• Internet security protocols (TLS/SSL)
• Signal processing skills
• Software Defined Radio experience
• Experience applying the scientific method to challenging mission problems
• Active Top Secret security clearance with polygraph
