Campus Security Officer

Wage: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour. The Security Officer will be on call to cover open shifts with no set schedule. Work hours vary by operational needs, ranging 8–40 hours per week, primarily covering 2nd and 3rd shifts.

• Provide security coverage for open shifts as needed.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols, walking up to 3 miles per day.
• Maintain a professional, courteous, and customer-focused presence.
• Complete written reports and accurately input data into computer systems in a timely manner.

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum of two (2) years of security experience, or prior law enforcement, corrections, or military experience.
• Full and valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong computer proficiency and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors and walk long distances.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and overnight shifts.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
