GOLF MAINTENANCE TECH 1
Hobbit's Glen Golf Club is seeking a Golf Maintenance Tech 1 to perform skilled work in the operation of tools and light equipment for the maintenance and construction of the golf course. This role involves a wide range of tasks, including the operation of large, motorized mowing equipment and various hand and power tools.
Responsibilities- Mow greens, tees, fairways, and rough areas.
- Apply fertilizer and manage portable sprinklers or hand-watering.
- Change cups on greens and move tee markers.
- Trim and rake sand traps and maintain golf ball washers.
- Rake leaves, cut weeds, and fell trees or branches as needed.
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of sprinkler and drainage systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist with repairs on motorized and mechanical equipment.
- Perform manual labor, including lifting up to 75 pounds, digging, and raking.
- Ability to work independently and become proficient in a variety of equipment operations and maintenance tasks within the first six months.
- Capable of recognizing and properly reacting to course maintenance situations and working efficiently around patrons within the first year.
- Authorized to make decisions under direction.
The pay range for this position is $16.00 to $18.00. The actual pay rate offered will depend on the overall qualifications of the individual applicant for the position and the amount budgeted for the role.
