Maintenance Technician

• Experience: 2-5 years of general maintenance experience

We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and general building maintenance across supported commercial facilities.

• Complete preventive maintenance and repairs according to work orders, company procedures, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
• Perform minor plumbing maintenance
  , including repairs to toilets, urinals, faucets, valves, automatic flush sensors, and related fixtures.
• Perform routine painting, carpentry, drywall, and general maintenance to maintain facilities in like-new condition.
• Repair and maintain walls, floors, doors
  , and perform painting and touch-up work as needed.
• Perform minor electrical maintenance permitted under applicable state laws, including fixtures, switches, outlets, light bulbs, ballasts, and sockets.
• Complete service and asset inspections as needed.
• Use tablets, smartphones, and business systems to:
• Access and complete work orders and service notes
• Submit service reports and quality inspection documentation
• Submit timesheets, expense reports, and purchase card logs
• Obtain necessary materials and supplies to complete assigned work.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and communicate effectively with customers and internal support teams.
• Complete required safety and compliance training and participate in weekly safety meetings.
• Provide estimates for larger projects and services when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma, degree/certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• 2-5 years of general maintenance experience
  , including minor electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Experience in one or more building trades such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, landscaping, or specialty floor care is preferred.
• Commercial services experience highly preferred.
• Must possess applicable certifications/licenses and a valid driver's license in good standing
  .
• Ability to read and understand safety policies, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Comfortable using handheld devices and business systems, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  .
• Ability to complete work orders in a timely manner and communicate work order status.
• Knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations, OSHA standards, and company safety policies.
• Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  .
• Ability to travel locally between properties on a daily basis.

A hands-on maintenance professional with multi-trade experience who can independently handle day-to-day repairs, preventive maintenance, inspections, and customer service across commercial facilities.
