Compensation Range: $123,000 – $163,000 (annualized USD)
Clearance Required: Must be a U.S. citizen with an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer (SWE1) to help build and support the next generation of AI infrastructure platforms
. In this role, you will contribute to the development and operation of the foundational services that enable scalable AI capabilities, with a focus on model inference services and support for a broader ecosystem of AI-enabled applications.
You will work alongside senior engineers in a collaborative environment, gaining hands‑on experience with production AI systems while contributing to real‑world solutions. This role is ideal for engineers who are eager to grow their skills in cloud‑native development, AI infrastructure, and distributed systems.
ResponsibilitiesImplement and support infrastructure components for AI model inference under the guidance of senior engineers.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of production AI services and applications, including retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) and autonomous agent‑based systems.
Assist with implementing monitoring, logging, and observability for AI services.
Support automation of infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Help ensure availability, reliability, and performance of AI platform components.
Follow established security best practices for AI systems and data handling.
Work in ambiguous problem spaces while learning to define structured, scalable solutions.
Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams and contribute to shared development standards and best practices.
Experience contributing to production software systems
.Familiarity with high‑volume web application architectures
.Exposure to cloud engineering
, preferably AWS
.Working knowledge of Kubernetes concepts and containerized deployments.
Proficiency in Python
.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern Dev Ops practices.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to evolving technical environments.
Strong communication skills and willingness to ask questions and seek feedback.
Exposure to AI inference serving technologies such as vLLM
, LiteLLM
, or similar platforms.Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as Lang Chain
.Awareness of vector databases and embedding systems.
Interest in distributed systems
, scalability, or performance engineering.Experience supporting cloud-native or microservices‑based architectures.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical discipline and 3+ years of relevant professional experience
OR7+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, technical skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $123,000 – $163,000 (annualized USD).
