CACI has an immediate opportunity for a Software Engineer to join a team in the Ft. Meade area.
Responsibilities:The position is located in Columbia, MD, supporting the DTS portfolio, which provides infrastructure, data protocols, and applications for near real-time data movement. Activities support local stakeholders, the Intelligence Community, DoD, and other federal partners, handling transport streams, messages, and files from bytes to terabytes.
Preferred Experience:- Experience writing analytics using Apache Hadoop, HDFS, and Map Reduce.
- Experience with large data sets or high-volume data ingestion.
- Monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Apache Accumulo, Hadoop, and Zookeeper deployments.
- Knowledge of the Spring Framework and Dependency Injection.
- Proficiency in Linux, Git, Maven, Gradle.
- Understanding of RESTful services and containers (Web Logic, JBoss, Tomcat).
- Knowledge of Public Key Enabling (PKE).
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- 4-10 years’ experience as a Software Engineer in similar scope projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Java, Linux, Spring Framework, RESTful interfaces, and software development tools.
- Potential CWIP Requirements: IAM Level I Certification.
