CNO Developer​/Engineer

Big Bear.ai is hiring CNO Developers to provide custom software design and development of CNO tools and techniques. Designs and develops end-to-end data flow and tasking into CNO tools developed. Provides/authors documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews in accordance with the customer's software development procedures and processes.

This position will report to an on-site location in Maryland; an active TS-SCI clearance with Poly is required.

• Program in Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.
• Develop Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environments; UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments; or, Embedded or mobile platform development.
• Provide/author documentation, participate in design, code, and software readiness reviews as prescribed by the customer's software development procedures and processes.
• Use software version control tools (e.g., Subversion or CVS).
• Debug software and troubleshoot issues.
• Design and develop end-to-end data flow and tasking for CNO tools developed.
• Provide/author and participate in technical presentations on assigned projects.
• Develop network sockets program including developing packet-level programs, expert packet-level understanding of IP, TCP, and application-level protocols.
• Lead CNO Analyst/Programmers in daily tasks.

• Technical Degree and 5 plus years of experience.
• Clearance:
  Must possess and maintain a TS-SCI clearance with a polygraph.
• Experience with any of the following languages and associated technology stacks:
  Assembly, C, C++, Java, Perl, or Python.

• Tenacity to figure out solutions to hard problems.
