We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex software capabilities for computer‑based systems. You will work closely with other talented engineers to create software solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

This position allows for partial telework.

A current Secret level security clearance is required. Candidates cannot be sponsored or nominated for a government security clearance under this position, but we can also consider candidates with a TS Level security clearance.

Nine (9) years experience in Software Engineering, Modern Java Frameworks and Libraries (e.g. Spring, Guava). Bachelors in related field; seven (7) years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and thirteen (13) years relevant experience.

• Experience building and maintaining Kubernetes deployments using tools like helm and flux
• Strong Java software development experience
• Experience in designing enterprise APIs
• Experience in RESTful web services
• Experience in Microservices architecture
• Experience with the agile software lifecycle
• Has a proven ability to learn quickly and works well both independently as well as in a team setting
• Experience with the Linux operating system
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g. Git, Nexus, Maven)
• Demonstrated experience serving as a tech lead, mentor, or manager for engineering teams
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 1-2 days per week at our Columbia, MD office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed

• Experience in cloud based technologies (AWS, Azure)
• Experience designing and writing custom kubernetes tooling like operators and custom CRDs
• Experience with programming languages such as golang and python
• Experience with writing automation in CI/CD tooling such as gitlabs CI pipelines
• Experience in distributed databases, No

• Scripting experience is a huge plus
• Prior experience or familiarity with our Big Data Platform is a plus

Erias Ventures provides a complete package of wealth, health, and happiness benefits. The expected salary range for this position, depending on education and years of experience is $150,000 - $275,000.
