Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000
Experience Requirement- 3+ years with a Bachelor's degree, OR
- 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
This role places you on a fast‑moving software engineering team supporting a microservice ecosystem with several UIs. Project management is run with feature‑driven development. The team is highly collaborative, and engineers are actively encouraged to help drive system design.
You will work closely with the project team and interact with customers daily, taking real ownership of components from the start.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain Java microservice web applications.
- Work closely with the tech lead on technical decisions and product roadmap.
- Resolve challenging software engineering and design problems.
- Interact with the customer to resolve issues and propose new features.
- Support testing and deployment of production applications.
- Experience with design, debugging, and problem solving in Java.
- Experience with RESTful web applications.
- Experience with Spring Boot.
- Experience interacting with Mongo
DB or similar database technology. - Experience with automated testing.
- Full‑stack experience including UI development with JavaScript (Vue.js).
- Experience with Kafka.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Linux administration.
- Experience with automated build tools, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Salary is determined by multiple factors, including location, education, experience, skills, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $130,000 – $160,000 (annualized USD).
