Software Developer- TS​/SCI Clearance

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new bleeding edge software.
• Work with the entire Software Development Lifecycle.
• Use Python to solve hard problems and create or improve the best solutions.
• Demonstrate solid knowledge of Python and JSON.
• Perform system and subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, and subsystem and system integration and tests.
• Research requirements for a product, including CNO deployment environment, performance criteria, and competitive issues.
• Design ideas for new capabilities or recommend improvements to existing capabilities.
• Show knowledge of multiple software development methodologies (Scrum, TDD, Waterfall).
• Determine computer user needs and analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, and programming.
• Ensure software standards are met.
• Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new requirements, or improve performance.
• Debug and troubleshoot software.
• Perform quality control on team products.
• Coordinate and perform software deployments for developed products.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two years of programming experience; six years of proven programming experience will be accepted in lieu of a BS.
• Proficiency with Python, including object‑oriented analysis and design (OOAD) and task automation.
• Experience with Windows and Linux shell scripting (Power Shell, Bash).
• Experience with software version control.
• Direct or foundational knowledge of Computer Network Operations (CNO) environments.
• Experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of JSON and YAML.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required; willingness to undergo polygraph examination.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting and debugging.
• Proficiency with both SQL and No
  
  SQL database environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Subversion or other version control systems.
• Experience utilizing the Atlassian suite, specifically Jira and Confluence.
• Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP), socket‑level programming, and network issue resolution.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms such as Azure.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines (Git Lab) and infrastructure automation using Ansible.
• Experience developing and integrating with RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Hashi Corp tools, including Vagrant, Packer, and Terraform.
