Position Overview

This role focuses on deriving software design and performance requirements from complex user needs and implementing scalable, high-performance solutions.

Core Responsibilities

Analyze user requirements to define system performance standards
Design and code new software features
Modify existing applications for performance improvement
Integrate applications into modified operating environments
Develop complex database queries and interfaces
Lead development teams within secure lifecycle frameworks
Ensure quality control across development deliverables

Advanced Technical Requirements

20 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
Big Data technologies (HBase, Accumulo, Hadoop, Hive, Pig)
HDFS experience
Map Reduce programming model
JSON/BSON serialization

This role is ideal for a senior technical leader capable of overseeing multi-team development efforts.
