Junior Full-Stack Software Developer Security Clearance

Overview

Active Top Secret (TS/SCI) clearance with polygraph is required. Visionist, a 100% employee‑owned company, offers a Junior Full‑Stack Software Developer role on its largest PRIME contract. The position focuses on building and integrating software tools to improve operational efficiency for intelligence community users.

• Translate high‑level or ambiguous requirements into actionable software solutions through direct engagement with customers and stakeholders
• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions, incorporating user feedback to iteratively improve functionality and performance
• Collaborate with senior engineers to review code, understand architectural decisions, and continuously improve technical skills
• Leverage modern AI‑assisted development tools to enhance productivity and accelerate solution development
• Develop scripts, user interfaces, and backend services to integrate disparate data sources into cohesive, user‑focused applications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (or an additional four years of experience may substitute)
• Three years of experience in software development
• Experience developing applications using Python and Java Script
• Ability to work in dynamic environments with evolving requirements and minimal oversight
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and gather requirements
• Experience working in Linux environments and using Git for version control
