Mid-Level Software Engineer (Full Stack Focus) Custom Media Operations Developer
Join the Custom Media Operations team at Neural Solutions, winners of the President's Intelligence Advisory Board Killian Award for outstanding mission support. You will contribute to full‑stack web development efforts that enhance our capabilities within the state‑of‑the‑art AI/ML landscape.
Responsibilities:- Built and maintained full stack applications in collaboration with business leaders and AI/ML engineers, providing custom media operations solutions.
- Partnered with AI/ML engineers, senior stakeholders, and business users to understand complex operational challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
- Rapidly prototyped and piloted cutting‑edge capabilities to meet customers' evolving needs.
- Optimized system usability and workflow efficiency by collaborating with end‑users to define ideal user interaction paths that reduce mission operation friction.
- Proven ability to manage a project from initial concept through iterative development, rigorous testing, and final deployment.
- Highly self‑directed with experience in decomposing work into features and actions with minimal oversight.
- Experience conducting direct user research and solving real‑world operational pain points based on user feedback.
- Familiarity with Linux distributions like Ubuntu and Amazon Linux.
- Proficiency in Docker.
- Working knowledge of No
SQL databases, specifically MongoDB. - Experience managing CI/CD build pipelines within Git Lab.
- Experience with Java/Spring Boot and Python/Flask.
- Certified Kubernetes Application Developer or general experience managing applications on Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with multimedia and 3D modeling tools such as Cinema4D, Blender, Unreal Engine, Gimp, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator.

Required:
8 years with Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 12 years without degree
Location: Columbia, MD
Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph required
Salary Range: $148,000 - $177,000
