* The Head Volleyball Coach position is responsible for the direction of the sport of volleyball in the department of athletics. This position works under minimal supervision organizing intercollegiate competition. The incumbent’s duties include scouting, recruiting players, developing and leading practices, ensuring athletic fitness and readiness for competition, and implements game strategies. The Head Volleyball Coach administers and manages all aspects of American University’s NCAA Division I women’s volleyball program within the rules and regulations of the University, the Patriot League, and the NCAA.
