The Logistics Associate is responsible for shipping/outbound distribution, receiving, storing, handling and or issuing all materials including but not limited to cGMP raw materials, NON-cGMP raw materials, Common Supply, maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) supplies, Work-in-Process (WIP), and Finished Goods Inventory (FGI).
What will you be doing?- Ensure proper storage and distribution of received materials under the guidance and direction of departmental SOP's/specifications.
- Stage incoming raw materials for further processing.
- Receive GxP raw material into inventory/ERP system.
- Relocate staged and quarantined materials to appropriate areas, as directed.
- Perform and assist in performing physical inventories as required.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing adjustments to documents and ERP.
- Perform housekeeping as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. - Experience/expectations:
Below Working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook. - Experience/expectations:
Working knowledge of FEDEX, UPS and other online systems used in shipping processes. - Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to initiate and retrieve tracking information from carrier.
- High energy.
- Manual dexterity.

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $20.19 - $30.28 USD hourly. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew.
Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
