Provide onsite construction supervision as a 1099 independent contractor for a 6–7 month ground-up commercial construction project in Columbia, MO 65202
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and productivity
Monitor daily jobsite activities, workforce planning, and project progress
Promote compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements
Conduct site meetings, safety briefings, and quality control inspections
Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Communicate project updates with project managers, clients, inspectors, and trade partners
Identify and resolve field issues to help keep the project on schedule
Complete daily reports, project documentation, and field logs using construction management software

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Ground-up commercial construction experience required
Ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple phases of construction
Working knowledge of commercial construction methods, building codes, and safety standards
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency with construction management software and digital project documentation
OSHA knowledge and commitment to maintaining a safe jobsite
Ability to work onsite in Columbia, MO 65202 for the duration of the 6–7 month contract
