Senior Project Manager - Mission Critical

We're partnering with a leading general contractor to hire a Senior Project Manager for large-scale hyperscale data center construction.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced mission-critical builder who can take ownership of complex projects from early preconstruction through commissioning and final turnover. You'll lead project teams, control financial performance, coordinate critical MEP and trade activities, and ensure demanding schedule, safety, quality, and client expectations are met.

The first project will be located near St Louis, MO, with the opportunity to support additional mission-critical projects as the company's data center portfolio continues to grow.

• Lead hyperscale data center projects from preconstruction, procurement, and buyout through construction, commissioning, and closeout
• Take full responsibility for project budgets, forecasts, schedules, cost controls, and overall financial performance
• Develop and maintain detailed project execution plans, milestone schedules, procurement logs, and risk-mitigation strategies
• Oversee estimating, subcontractor bidding, contract negotiations, buyout, change management, and owner billing
• Coordinate closely with field leadership, MEP teams, design partners, trade contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams
• Drive the procurement and installation of long-lead mission-critical equipment
• Monitor critical-path activities and proactively resolve schedule, design, procurement, and field challenges
• Lead OAC, subcontractor, coordination, and internal project meetings
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the client, architects, engineers, consultants, and trade partners
• Ensure compliance with project safety plans, quality standards, contract requirements, and applicable codes
• Support testing, commissioning, turnover, and closeout activities to achieve all client milestones
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Engineers, Assistant Project Managers, Project Managers, and other project team members
• Build strong client and subcontractor relationships that support successful delivery and future work

• 8-12+ years of progressive construction project management experience
• Proven experience delivering mission-critical or hyperscale data center projects
• Strong understanding of data center construction sequencing, MEP coordination, commissioning, and turnover
• Experience managing large, technically complex projects from preconstruction through completion
• Strong command of project financials, scheduling, procurement, contracts, buyout, and change management
• Ability to manage fast-paced schedules, long-lead equipment, multiple trade partners, and demanding client expectations
• Demonstrated success leading project teams and partnering effectively with field operations
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• Proficiency with Procore, scheduling platforms, Microsoft Office, and related construction management technology
• Willingness to work on the initial project in Missouri and support future mission-critical project needs
