Classroom Aide

The Archdiocese of St. Louis, headquartered at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO, seeks a Classroom Aide for Holy Redeemer Catholic School. This role supports teachers and students in a positive learning environment, promotes Catholic values, and contributes to students’ academic, emotional, and spiritual development.

Holy Redeemer Catholic School is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, faith-centered Classroom Aide to support teachers and students in a positive learning environment.

• Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and daily lesson implementation.
• Provide individual and small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Help maintain a structured, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support classroom management and reinforce positive behavior expectations.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom organization.
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities.
• Assist students with assignments and reinforce learning concepts.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and staff regarding student needs and progress.
• Integrate and model Catholic values in interactions with students.
• Participate in school activities and meetings as appropriate.
• Support students’ social, emotional, and spiritual development.

• High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in education or related field preferred.
• Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
• Commitment to Catholic education and values.
• Practicing Catholic preferred (depending on school requirements).
