Project Manager – Robotic Automation Systems

Responsibilities

• Lead development of project "Initiation Activities"
• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives
• Document and manage all project specific objectives
• Develop a detailed project plan
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs
• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Coordinate risk and opportunity management planning activities
• Guide the applicable core team members
• Manage customer required documentation
• Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel
• Communicate with customers on problem resolution
• Monitor and provide direction throughout build/installation process
• Prepare and report status of project
• Conduct and document “Lessons Learned” review of project

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 3-5 years of project management experience
• Minimum of three (3) full lifecycle projects managed
• Minimum of one global project managed
• Cross-functional experience of 3-4 years in manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, finance, quality or sales
• Automotive industry and manufacturing experience preferred
• Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
• Ability to manage and facilitate a cross functional team
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Skilled in using logic and reason to solve problems
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
