Engineering Group Manager – Vehicle Closures

• Lead the vehicle closures engineering team to deliver on-time, high-quality engineering releases
• Provide technical direction on design, integration, and validation for vehicle closure systems
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement
• Oversee engineering documentation and release discipline
• Partner with Program Teams, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers
• Drive issue identification and root cause resolution
• Develop and manage plans, priorities, and resource allocation
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members
• Regularly communicate status, risks, and recommendations to leadership

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 8+ years of automotive engineering experience
• Proven experience with engineering release, system integration, and validation
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and work independently
