- Agricultural Relationship Manager.
In this role, you'll:
- Develop trusted relationships with farmers, agribusinesses, and rural customers.
- Build and manage a successful agricultural and consumer lending portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to help customers achieve their financial goals.

- Assistant Vice President, Ag & Rural Lending: $64,000 - $107,000

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of sales, marketing strategies, financial services, agricultural operations, negotiation skills, and basic accounting principles.

Reports To: Vice President Team Leader, Ag & Rural Lending

Job Functions:
- 60% Loan Origination/Portfolio Management
- 25% Marketing and Sales
- 10% Chattel and Collateral Valuations
- 5% Training

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business or a related field
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Required Knowledge and Skills
- General knowledge of the sales process
- General knowledge of negotiating tactics
- General knowledge of marketing strategies
- General knowledge of financial services industry
- General knowledge of the agricultural industry
- General knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Skill in negotiating agreements to achieve the best outcome for the organization
- Skill in using Microsoft technologies including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Skill in listening and conveying awareness of a customer's problem or issue to find resolution
- Oral and written communication skills sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics, and to effectively communicate complex topics to a variety of audiences
- Ability to learn and retain Association policies and procedures, and the ability to adapt to new policies and procedures quickly.
- Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the Association's systems and data and clients' data
