Job Summary
The City of St. Peters is seeking a Water/Sewer Service Repair Program Coordinator to plan, prioritize, administer, and supervise work activities associated with the repair of residential sewer laterals and water service lines. This role coordinates and administers both the Sewer Lateral Repair Program and the Water Service Line Repair Program, ensuring compliance with departmental budgets, contracts, and regulatory standards. The position involves project management, administrative oversight, and hands‑on supervision of contractors and City staff.

Monday‑Friday; 8:00AM - 4:30PM
Key Responsibilities- Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenditure, and ensure work activities and purchases remain within budget
- Support development of departmental administrative policies, regulatory actions, and capital purchasing plans
- Review and respond to residential property owners regarding water service line and sewer lateral repair program applications, ensuring proper submittal and processing
- Perform administrative and supervisory actions, including maintaining work unit databases, records, and files
- Act as project manager and inspector for water service line and sewer lateral repair projects performed by contractors and City staff
- Research, prepare specifications, and ensure compliance with standards and regulations for program projects
- Prepare written notifications and documentation to maintain regulatory compliance and program quality
- Perform all work in compliance with City safety standards, regulatory codes, and ordinances related to building construction, property maintenance, accessibility, and general City safety
- Perform other work as assigned
- Must be a U.S. citizen or lawfully authorized alien worker
- Valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license in the state of Missouri
- Undergraduate degree in a related field and two (2) years of responsible project management or water/sewer inspection experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
- Skilled in the use of databases, spreadsheet, word processing, and other computer application programs and operating systems
