Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Lab Assistant to care for our patients at Dallas County Family Medical Center located in Buffalo, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!
Area: Dallas County Family Medical Center is located in Buffalo, Missouri. Buffalo has multiple outdoor experiences, such as hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing. Buffalo is a great community that offers small-town charm and friendly, reasonably priced neighborhoods with an excellent school system and Dallas County Technical Institute available for students pursuing vocational jobs.
About the department: Dallas County Family Medical Center's qualified medical staff provide complete family health care for adults, children, mothers and infants; as well as walk-in hours for convenient and quick care for a sudden illness or injury.
Responsibilities- Being responsible for collecting and processing blood samples for the laboratory.
- Responsible for performing waived and moderately complex tests and procedures.
- Reporting tests to designated area in a timely manner.
- Performing quality control in the department under supervision.
- Education:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred - Experience:
Preferred one to three months experience in a lab setting. - Skills:
organization, able to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking - Licensure/Certification: N/A
- Physical: ability to work standing for the majority of the day and the remaining 10% at a computer.
The position is PRN rotating; hours and days may vary. 8:00 a.m.
