About the Position
Pay Rate: $55.00 - $60.00/Hourly.

Summary:

The CVOR Technologist is a specialized surgical technologist who assists the cardiovascular surgical team in providing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular surgical procedures. This role requires advanced knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, surgical instrumentation, and sterile technique to support complex, high-acuity cases.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the cardiovascular operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile.

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

Scrub and assist during cardiovascular surgeries including open-heart, thoracic, and vascular procedures.

Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instruments, sutures, and supplies throughout procedures.

Assist with harvesting procedures and surgical site preparation.

Requirements
Requirements:

2 - Year experience Required,

BLS Certification,

Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent credential,

Specialized CVOR training or experience required.
