Lead Middleware Engineer- Tuxedo​/WebLogic

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Site Reliability Engineer specializing in Tuxedo and Web Logic to join our team. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, and reliability of mission-critical rental systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust solutions that align with our API-first strategy. This position offers the opportunity to work fully remote within the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and requires a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.

Responsibilities:

• Implement enhancement changes, monitor product health, and perform capacity planning.
• Resolve production issues and design initiatives to evolve services.
• Collaborate with client teams to ensure a consistent customer experience.
• Monitor solution health to meet established SLAs and address performance degradation, capacity concerns, and outages.
• Ensure system health during maintenance events such as patching and upgrades.
• Evaluate technology effectiveness and recommend improvements for solution consistency and reliability.
• Contribute to strategic capacity planning and operational activities.
• Monitor key performance metrics and address escalated issues.

Qualifications:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in software development engineering with C/C++, JAVA, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
• 5+ years of experience with Middleware use and configuration (Tuxedo, Web Logic, Tomcat).
• 5+ years of AIX sysadmin experience and associated tools.
• 5+ years of experience with monitoring tools like Splunk and Dynatrace.
