Inventory Management Specialist
Job DescriptionDuties include, but may not be limited to the following:
- Lifecycle Management:
Responsible for the lifecycle management of non-expendable assets; conducts short, mid and long-term advanced planning; analyzes data; supports customers and acquisition personnel in developing requirements, utilizing mandatory sources and standardization sources; and corresponds with procurement officials and other stakeholders to resolve issues - Inventory Management and Control:
Responsible for the management and control of NX equipment assets; serves as the point of contact for the coordination of material support and resolution of logistic problems; conducts forecasting and quantitative analysis; conducts spot checks; and complies with special requirements for firearms, ammunition and sensitive equipment - Performs other related duties as assigned.
Promotion Potential:
The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm
Telework:
This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process.
