Job Overview:
Insight Contracting is seeking a Housekeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly cleaning residential and commercial rental units, ensuring they are ready for new tenants. You will also report any last-minute maintenance issues or furnishing concerns to the rental office. This position offers flexible hours and shifts, making it ideal for someone looking for a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning furnished and unfurnished spaces, particularly in a construction or rental property setting, and will be comfortable working both independently and in small teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning & Sanitizing:
  Perform detailed cleanings of both residential and commercial rental units, including furnished and unfurnished spaces.
• Surface Cleaning:
  Remove grease, soap scum, and other residues from surfaces, including countertops, sinks, bathtubs, and appliances.
• Common Area Maintenance:
  Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in common areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for tenants.
• Inventory Management:
  Keep the company's inventory of cleaning supplies organized, ensuring all tools are in good working condition.
• Team Communication:
  Communicate effectively with management, team members, and other staff to address concerns discovered during cleaning.
• Supply Management:
  Notify the supervisor when cleaning supplies are running low or if additional materials are required to complete the task.
• Tenant Communication:
  Interact professionally with tenants as needed, especially for emergency cleanings related to new tenancy.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
  Wear appropriate PPE, such as face masks and gloves, when required for specific tasks.
• Record Keeping:
  Use a service-tracking app to log accurate records of work performed at each location.
• Tracking Protocols:
  Adhere to and actively promote company tracking protocols and procedures, including using data for billing confirmation, emergency response optimization, safe-driving habits, and recording driving data in case of an incident.
• Other Duties:
  Perform additional duties as assigned by management to maintain high-quality service and unit readiness.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Driver's License:
  Valid driver's license and corporate-insurable driving record are required.
• Attention to Detail:
  Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Independent & Team Work:
  Ability to work both independently and as part of a small team.
• Task Management:
  Capable of prioritizing tasks and multitasking effectively, especially in a fast-paced environment.
• Shift Flexibility:
  Ability to work flexible shifts as scheduled by management.
• Physical Demands:
  • Repeatedly enter and exit a vehicle up to 10 times per day.
  • Extended periods of walking, standing, and climbing stairs.
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching for cleaning tasks.
