Columbia, Missouri | Part-Time Internship
PAY RATE: $16.00-$18.00/hour, based upon hands on experience.

MACHINIST INTERN POSITION:
Our Machinist Intern will gain hands on experience with our production process which will in turn strengthen your machining abilities. Work under the supervision of a mechanical engineer and perform tasks such as loading raw materials into fixtures, observing the CNC machining process, post machining deburr and sandblasting.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Prepare and load fixtures into three state of the art CNC machines
- Learn how to operate and assist monitoring the machining process
- Help hand assemble parts into our finished product.
- Sandblast and deburr as needed
- Assist with inventory tracking of both parts and assembled products.
- Ensure standards are met via our quality control process for parts and assembled products.
- Troubleshoot part/product issues and identify potential design flaws.
- Work with Engineering team to make suggestions in improving overall design quality of products.
- Assist in the design of new and current products as needed.
