Health Center Assistant

The seasonal Health Center Assistant assists Eagle Sky with its full-time safety services, administering medication and treating minor to severe injuries that guests may sustain during their visit.

• Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that demonstrates the Lordship of Christ and models servant spiritual leadership to the guests.
• Must possess a ministry-minded mentality when interacting with all of the campers of Eagle Sky and be willing to go beyond job descriptions to meet the needs of campers.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and able and willing to follow a weekly schedule, yet flexible when needed.
• Experience in working with children and teens in volunteer or work scenarios.
• Be able to effectively share the gospel with a child/teen by the end of orientation.

• Must be able to handle and balance seasons of intense time commitments and demands of the camping environment
• Must possess a ministry-minded mentality when interacting with all campers of Eagle Sky and be willing to go beyond job descriptions to meet the needs of campers
• Work to develop team spirit when working alongside the rest of the summer staff team.
• The Health Center Assistant is responsible for assisting the Health Center Manager and Medical Professionals as they perform their duties.
• Physically able to lift 30+ pounds.
• This is not an exhaustive list of duties; a complete list will be given, and there will be a willingness to help other departments as the ministry needs. The mission and vision of Eagle Sky of the Ozarks Christian Challenge Camp ministry, along with the safety of our guests, are of utmost priority in every position here at Eagle Sky.

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

One of the following certifications is required:

• RN certification
• LPN certification
• Registered in a nursing program
