Job SummaryRegistered Nurse (RN) – Inpatient Behavioral Health – PT Nights (2 nights per week, 7:00p.m. – 7:30a.m.) located at Hill
101 Truman Medical Center, Western Missouri Mental Health, Kansas City, Missouri. This part‑time position requires 24hours per week on a 7:00p.m. – 7:30a.m. schedule.
We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled RN to join our inpatient behavioral health unit. The RN will provide high‑quality care to patients with acute, chronic, or terminal behavioral health conditions, participating in an interdisciplinary team and contributing to program development.
Responsibilities- Assess patients based on their diagnosis and individualized care needs.
- Plan, perform, delegate, and evaluate nursing care using clinical expertise.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in committees, program evaluations, research, and education initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor nursing students.
- Maintain compliance with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and all organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Current state of Missouri license as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BCLS certification.
- For PRN positions: at least one year of medical/surgical experience OR one year of experience in the specialty area.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent specialty degree.
- RN Specialty Certification.
