Registered Nurse

Mercy is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications and treatments, coordinate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide education to patients and families. You will utilize evidence-based practices, maintain accurate EHR documentation, and uphold strict safety and infection-control standards. • Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations across medical-surgical and specialty units
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring for effectiveness and adverse reactions
• Document care accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions to support optimal recovery
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to innovative approaches in patient care

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred, required for some units
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred for applicable specialties
• Specialty nursing certification (e.g., CCRN, CMSRN, CEN) a plus
