An independently owned family medicine practice in Cape Girardeau, Missouri is seeking a FNP for a full-time outpatient role with a genuine four-day workweek — Monday through Thursday, three-day weekends every week, no rounding, no inpatient duties, no overnight call. This is a whole-person, integrated primary care setting with behavioral health, chiropractic care, a registered dietitian, and in-house lab on-site — where new graduates are actively welcomed with mentorship built in and experienced providers have real room to grow and lead.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries across the lifespan
- Manage chronic medical conditions with a longitudinal, relationship-based approach
- Perform comprehensive physical exams and Medicare Annual Wellness Visits
- Provide preventive care and men's and women's health evaluations
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications per Missouri state law
- Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention
- Coordinate care with specialists and community resources
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team on quality improvement
- Active Missouri APRN license or eligibility to obtain
- FNP certification (AANP or ANCC) required
- DEA registration or ability to obtain
- BLS certification required
- Family medicine or primary care experience preferred
- New graduates welcome — mentorship and collaborative onboarding provided
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and team-oriented attitude
- $115,000–$140,000/year + productivity and performance incentives
- Signing bonus + relocation assistance (if applicable)
- Full-time | Four 10-hour shifts | Monday–Thursday
