Compensation:
· Base Pay Range: $34.46 - $51.02 per hour, based on experience
· Shift Differentials:
o Additional $4.00 per hour for night shift
o Additional $8.00 per hour for RN Weekend Program shifts
o Additional $3.00 per hour for core charge
· Retention Rewards:
Up to $15,000
§ Relocation Support:
Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away
§ Retention Reward (Option
1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000
§ Student Loan Repayment (Option
2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

MU Health Care is looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our nursing team in Emergency Services as a Throughput Coordinator. Our ER is the only Level 1 Trauma Center in central Missouri as well as a Level 1 STEMI Center for heart attacks and a Comprehensive Stroke Center, handling high acuity cases, including burns. Our ER works closely with our children's hospital critical care transport team and a helicopter service.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, capable of leading by example while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and quality. DetailedJob Description
· Provides clinical patient care within the scope of a Registered Nurse, including assessment of condition, goal setting, and nursing actions to meet the physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs of the patient
· Assesses, intervenes, and reassesses the patient's self-report and symptoms of pain promptly. Utilizes an appropriate tool for assessment and reassessment (0-10 numerical scale, FACES, or the FLACC.)
· Demonstrates an understanding of medications regarding their action and side effects. Reports pertinent information to the appropriate individual. Educates patients and support person(s) about medications.
· Demonstrates the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions in accomplishing goals and intended patient care outcomes.
· Maintains the standards of nursing care and implements policies and procedures of MU Health Care and assigned nursing unit.
· Reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to the appropriate person (i.e. resident physician, ancillary support teams) and records those observations accurately and concisely.
