Licensed Practical Nurse

Shift: Monday – Days, Primarily 8am – 5pm

Work Arrangement:
On-site Department:
Various Outpatient Clinics

Compensation:

· Base Pay Range: $22.14 - $34.59 per hour, based on experience

· Choose Between Sign-On Bonus

- Retention Rewards

o Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

o Retention Rewards:
Up to $15,000

§ Relocation Support:
Additional $5,000 if moving from over 50 miles away

§ Retention Reward (Option
1): $2,000 per year for up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

§ Student Loan Repayment (Option
2): $2,000 per year toward student loans, up to 5 years, totaling $10,000

Job Description

· Measure and record patients' vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.

· Prepare patients for examinations, tests, or treatments and explain procedures.

· Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions.

· Provide quality care to patients and work with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction. Follow all safety, security, and infection control, policies and procedures. Perform all tasks to ensure the safety of self, patient, and co-workers.

· Maintain the standards of nursing care and departmental criteria to assure they are aligned with the University of Missouri Health Care Mission and Goals.

· Participates in meetings, in-services, and quality and performance improvement groups.

· Perform patient care duties and procedures following department policy, established protocol and standard of care, or directed by Charge Nurse.

· May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents.

Required Qualifications

· Practical Nursing program graduate.

· Must pass the NCLEX exam on the first attempt and obtain Missouri Board of Nursing LPN or Nurse Licensure…
