American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring 2 years of experience, ACLS certification, and availability for monthly call rotations.

• Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Requires 8-9 days of call per month
• Cerner charting system preferred but not required
• Mandatory floating required for all travelers, including Patient Observer/Sitter duties across units
• Rotating shifts required, including holidays and inclement weather coverage

• Active MO or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (no pending licenses)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• 1:5 patient ratio experience
• Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Skilled in circulating procedures, procedural sedation monitoring and medication administration, and cardiac cath lab procedures
• Scrub procedure skills preferred
• Ability to ambulate, reach, and move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
• First-time travelers accepted

• Responsibilities include circulating procedures, monitoring procedural sedation and medications, and performing cardiac cath lab procedures
• Facility operates 24/7, 365 days a year, requiring flexibility for rotating shifts
• Holiday coverage required for at least 50% of holidays occurring during the contract
• Must be able to work assigned weekends and take call as required
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate; local candidates within this radius may be considered at a reduced rate
• Maximum RTO (requested time off) of 10 days during the assignment
• Assignments may be extended up to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts (up to 9 months total) before a mandatory 6-month break is required
