Merchandiser, Sales

As a Merchandiser for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Beverage & Food Operations, you support the Sales & Business Development team by optimizing product visibility and availability in retail accounts. You'll execute planograms, build impactful displays, ensure accurate pricing, rotate stock, and maintain brand standards across your territory. Partnering closely with Sales Representatives and store personnel, you'll help drive sales, support promotions, and capture key marketplace data.

Responsibilities

• Execute merchandising standards for Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits beverage and food portfolio across assigned retail accounts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers and sales representatives to maximize product visibility and sales
• Implement planograms, promotional displays, and point-of-sale materials to drive consumer awareness
• Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and ensure accurate pricing and shelf tags
• Collect and report sales, merchandising, and competitive activity data to the Sales & Business Development team
• Support Sales Representatives with in-store execution of promotions and new product launches
• Ensure compliance with retailer and supplier guidelines, including brand standards and display requirements
• Identify opportunities to expand product placement and increase share of shelf in assigned territory
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support diversity, inclusion, and company culture initiatives
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and merchandising skills
