ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Build rapport and relationships with HCPs, office staff, regional team members, and cross-functional partners.
  • Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and product in-servicing.
  • Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote product and provide product/patient education.
  • Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts; tailor solutions, drive differentiation, and achieve sales targets.
  • Regularly review/analyze sales data to create territory plans and use promotional budget funds.
  • Address external market challenges while collaborating internally to drive cohesive sales strategies.
  • Proactively work with cross-functional teams to integrate expertise and execute sales strategies.
  • Maintain call average (face-to-face interactions) with healthcare providers focused on top targets.
  • Use traditional and nontraditional problem-solving to improve performance in the assigned region.
  • Adhere to compliance policies and guidelines.
  • Achieve sales performance goals/objectives and complete administrative duties for the territory.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in related field).
  • Documented business-to-business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales preferred.
  • Preferred: experience managing complex healthcare accounts with multiple stakeholders across COEs, academic medical centers, integrated health systems, and specialty practices.
  • Preferred: collaboration with specialty pharmacies, patient support programs, reimbursement and access stakeholders.
  • Preferred: neurology, psychiatry, pediatric, rare disease, specialty therapeutics, or other complex disease states.
  • Preferred: new product launch experience in specialty/complex disease markets.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES (REQUIRED/PREFERRED)
  • Proven achievements toward meeting objectives.
  • Strong written/oral communication.
  • Ability to interact with HCPs in-person and virtually; proficient with technology.
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of reimbursement/managed care/marketing (preferred).
  • Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening.
  • Valid US driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
TRAVEL
  • Regular travel; may include air travel and weekend/overnight travel.
