The suitable candidate needs to have strong communication skills, ability to work in, and help people through, challenging situations, and be customer service oriented as our main task each day is to assist customers, who may be experiencing a flood of emotions, and are depending on us to turn back the tide of uncertainty.
The Duct Cleaning Technician will work as part of the Servpro team to provide professional air duct cleaning services for residential and commercial properties. The Duct Cleaning Technician will be responsible for assessing the condition of air ducts, performing cleaning services, and ensuring that all work is completed according to specifications and within budget. The successful candidate will work efficiently and safely, maintain accurate records, and provide excellent customer service to clients.
ESSENTIALDUTIES
- Perform visual inspections of air ducts and HVAC systems.
- Use specialized equipment to clean air ducts and HVAC systems.
- Maintain detailed records of cleaning services performed.
- Follow established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure that clients are satisfied with the work performed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Attend all required training and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Duct Cleaning Manager.
- Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
- Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
- Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics)
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning agents
- Valid driver's license
- Basic math skills
- Effective oral communication
- Ability to succesfully complete a background check and drug screening
- Previous experience in HVAC or related preferred
