HCS Construction is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator! The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to place and install underground telecom facilities. Responsibilities:

• Operate chain trencher, directional drill, plow, backhoe, dozer, rock saw, and tractor trailer safely and efficiently.
• Ensure team properly potholes for other utilities to ensure there no conflicts with the drill path
• Fill water tanks with water.
• Know and understand the location of underground utilities at all times to avoid striking or damaging them
• Before work is started, ensure all utilities have been located and develop a plan for going above or below each utility or obstacle in the drill path.
• Pull back the product with the correct hole opener and utilize the correct mud mixture to ensure that the product makes it from point A to point
  
  B.
• Inspect and maintain job equipment.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license
• Pre-Employment Screening
• Relevant Telecom/Utilities Experience 2+ years
• MUST have or be able to obtain CDL Class A license
