Vice President Finance

Vice President of Finance & Accounting - $170,000 to $190,000 base salary plus 10% bonus

Unique opportunity to join an industry leader as their Vice President of Finance & Accounting. This position is the "top" financial role within this 40 year old, 110-120 employee company and will report directly to the company's President. This position is equal parts “hands on” and “strategic”. The VP of Finance will serve as a trusted advisor and colleague to the Senior Management team and the Board of Directors who are eager and hungry for a VP of Finance who will provide structure on the back end and will “pump the brakes” if they get too aggressive in their growth strategy.

This position will oversee all finance and accounting activities for a company with multiple locations. This position will manage financial reporting, the close process, budgeting / forecasting, cash flow planning, pricing and internal controls. The VP of Finance will generate weekly KPI reports and monthly financial reports for management meetings. This position will work with external business partners like their public accounting firm, their banks, their insurance companies and other vendors.

Our client seeks a candidate with a Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting / financial management experience. Prior experience working as a small business Controller, CFO
-OR- experience as a Business Unit / Divisional Controller is strongly preferred. CMA, CPA and / or MBA preferred but not required.
