Senior Tax Accountant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our small but dedicated staff, you will play a vital role in preparing and reviewing a variety of tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. This is a full-time, onsite position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual (1040), business (1065, 1120), and corporate tax returns.
• Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on current tax laws and regulations.
• Assist with tax planning and consulting for clients.
• Prepare and review tax work papers and supporting documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax matters.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and accurate tax preparation.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation, with a strong emphasis on individual, business, and corporate tax returns.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in tax preparation software (specify software if applicable).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
