** Project Accountant*
* ** Construction Accounting | Job Costing | Full-Time*
* Are you an experienced
** Project Accountant
** with a background in construction accounting and job costing? We're seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to oversee the financial performance of construction projects from start to finish. In this role, you'll partner with project managers to manage budgets, billing, job costs, and reporting to help deliver successful, profitable projects.
** Responsibilities*
* + Manage project budgets, job costs, and financial reporting
+ Monitor project profitability and analyze cost variances
+ Process vendor and subcontractor invoices
+ Prepare progress billing, AIA billing, and track accounts receivable
+ Maintain accurate job costing for labor, materials, and equipment
+ Prepare Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports and support month-end close
+ Track change orders, contracts, retainage, and lien waivers
+ Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects stay on budget and on schedule
** Qualifications*
* + 2+ years of
** Project Accountant
** or
** Construction Accountant
** experience
+
Experience with
** job costing** , project billing, and construction accounting
+ Proficiency with
** Quick Books, Sage, Viewpoint, Procore** , or similar ERP/accounting software
+ Strong Microsoft Excel skills
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
+ Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
