Job Responsibilities
Serves as the administrative assistant to the Operations Department, Beltline Campus at Midlands Technical College and provides administrative support within the department/division as needed.

Midlands Technical College is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Specialist to support the Operations Department at our Beltline Campus. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping others succeed, and takes pride in keeping an office running smoothly.

As a key member of the department, you will provide comprehensive administrative support, assist with daily operations, and serve as a reliable point of contact for faculty, staff, and students. The Administrative Specialist plays an essential role in ensuring efficient workflows, maintaining accurate records, coordinating communications, and supporting departmental initiatives.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

A high school diploma or three years of directly related administrative experience and practices. Must be able to type 35 words per minute.
