Carpenter Foreman are required to perform a variety of tasks including erecting and setting forms for vertical and horizontal concrete structures and site work, per specifications and drawings. The Foremen is responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of construction workers on a construction site. They must ensure the job is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards.
The foreman has a crucial role in ensuring the safety of his crew and himself while meeting the daily production targets set by the company. He should possess advanced skills and expertise in all aspects of his work, including cost control, scheduling, specifications, and claims management. Additionally, he is responsible for handling various documentation such as timesheets, production reports, labor reports, men-hour reports, and other essential documentation.

Responsibilities- Read and interpret measuring tools such as, tape measure, speed square, framing square…etc. In order to perform task accurately.
- Assist in setting and placement of forms to proper elevations and location, prepare the base and install proper reinforcing.
- Experience and/or exposure in setting and erecting forms using a wide variety of materials and forming systems for vertical and Horizontal concrete forming.
- Assist in the marking, cutting, and assembly lines on materials. Assists in Shaping materials to prescribed measurements and assemble, fasten with nails, dowel pins or glue.
- Able to assist in general Carpentry tasks, such as, but not limited to: build and install barricades, decks, shelves, and any other misc. Site needs and duties that may come up.
- Be able to assist in placing/tying rebar.
- Be able to assist in placing and finishing concrete.
- Assist in the following:
Disassemble, remove, and clean form materials. - Work in other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision. Must have the ability to take direction from a higher skilled worker or foreman.
- Must have basic knowledge of the construction processes involved in heavy infrastructure construction.
- Support project with other tasks as directed by supervision.
- Communicate with Foreman regarding any problems arising, materials required, or any hazards noted.
- Ability to work different shifts and overtime as required.
- Work under production schedule pressure.
- Attain set standards of accuracy.
- Be able to perform duties in a safe manner.
