We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Physician for a locum tenens position near Columbia, SC, with an immediate need over the holiday season. This is an inpatient-only assignment that involves call coverage with no outpatient duties required. The ideal candidate will provide compassionate and skilled pediatric care to patients aged 0-18 in a hospital setting.

• Admissions: Average 3-12 admissions per shift; monthly admittance rate TBD
• Rounding Required: Yes, to ensure comprehensive inpatient care
• On-Call Duties: Beeper call with response requirements; details to be provided upon assignment
• Specialty Skills Required:
  • Non-Invasive Ventilation (Neo-Puff) for Newborns and Pediatrics
  • Intubation, Conscious/Deep Sedation
  • Various Pediatric Procedures (e.g., Central Line, Arterial Lines, Thoracentesis, Chest Tube Insertion)
  • X-ray and EKG Interpretation

• Board Certification: Must be board-certified in Pediatrics
• Licensure: Active SC medical license
• Certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS required
• Experience: Fellowship preferred

• Support Staff: Peds nursing staff on-site
• Credentialing Timeline: 30-45 days, with temporary privileges available
• Facility Level: Pediatric Level II;
  Stroke Certified Hospital
• Insurance Coverage: Provided by the vendor
